Vote a Straight Republican Ticket

Early voting or voting on November 5 recommend a Paper Ballot

DO NOT SHRED OR THROW YOUR MAIL IN BALLOTS AWAY!

IF YOU DO NOT USE THEM, THEY NEED TO BE TAKEN TO THE POLLING PLACE AND TURNED IN SO THEY WILL BE MARKED SPOILED BY ELECTION OFFICIALS!

*If you get a mail in ballot and don't want to vote by mail, if you are voting on November 5,  take your mail in ballot to the Decatur 6 polling place (Concordia Lutheran Church) and turn it in to the polling officials so it can be marked spoiled.

*If you early vote, you vote at 151 West Wood Street. (across from the County Building) If you received mail in ballot and do not want to vote by mail, you need to surrender your mail in ballot at your polling place. Early voting place is 151 W Wood, Election Day voting is Concordia Lutheran church.

Mail In Ballots

FIRST READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY!

YOU MUST SIGN AND DATE BOTH THE LARGE ENVELOPE AND THE SMALL ENVELOPE OR YOUR BALLOT WILL NOT BE COUNTED!

WE RECOMMEND NOT PUTTING YOUR BALLOT IN THE MAIL, READ INFORMATION BELOW MARKED*

*DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR BALLOT TO THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE.

The USPS has proven itself extremely unreliable and not trustworthy for ballot handling. We have discovered that your ballot, mailed locally, may travel to other states before it is finally delivered to your local Election Authority to be counted! Ballots mailed using the USPS have absolutely NO CHAIN OF CUSTODY and can easily be waylaid or tampered with. This is according to Illinois Conservative Union who is working with Judicial Watch to clean up Illinois voter rolls, READ HERE.

Help family, friends and neighbors to get their ballots and vote. In Illinois, you can help to make sure those ballots are delivered to be tabulated. (*See notes below).

In many counties, you can track the status of your ballot by checking on your local County Clerk/Election Authority website. Some Illinois counties also use BallotTrax (https://wheresmyballot.com)  IF YOU HAVE A MAIL IN BALLOT drop it in the lock box at the Macon County Building at the corner of Wood and Main.

NOTE: If you do not have a 'collector' or someone to take your ballot to the lock box at Main and Wood Street or into Room 119 in the county building you can leave this blank.

Macon County Building, home of Josh Tanner has an official ballot box at the corner of Main and Wood Streets. The actual box is pictured below. It is locked and has a 24-7 security camera monitoring it.

New early voting location at 151 Wood Street, across from the Macon County Building. Entrance and parking available, follow the flags.
